Types of Cellulite:
Cellulite Generalized: occurs in women with overweight and poor eating habits.
Cellulite Localized: is usually on the legs, abdomen, upper arms and back, buttocks, and may be associated with pain.
Cellulite Last: occurs more frequently in female athletes who have a good physique and muscle tone. She is usually seen in athletes or dancers with strong and well-toned fabrics.
Evidenced by the pinch test with the appearance of “orange peel”. Due to poor nutrition and oxygenation, the epidermal layer is thin and dry and rough appearance. Therefore, in general, coincides with the appearance of stretch marks as a result of the breakdown of elastic fibers in the skin.
Cellulite Flaco: Occurs in people who do not perform physical activity or who suffered major fluctuations in weight. It is observed as a result of inactivity or in those women who always did gymnastics and then abandoned the practice of physical activity.
It also occurs in patients undergoing dietary treatments with subsequent recovery of excess weight.
Cellulite Edematous: are generally found on the legs, occurs in all ages. Is observed in puberty and young people 16 to 20 years, in special cases up to 35 years. When found in adult women, refer them have had significant localized adiposity legs.
